People complain about writers being content creators etc etc etc but I admit I would rather get a thousand dollars per sponsored post for like, sparkling water that labour-wise would take me 5 minutes to do. At least this would give me more time to focus on my ART. Unfortunately, I am a writer with a Name so usually companies ask me to write 800 to 1000 words on something that capitalizes on my “reputation” and has me singing for my supper in ways I feel even more icky about. What’s more morally depraved?
